Real Estate Update
The San Diego County housing market remained steady in May, with pending sales increasing 2.9% over the past 12 months. The median home price held at $900,000, while the median price for single-family homes rose 1.0% to $1,060,000. The luxury market continued to perform well, with pending sales of homes priced above $5 million increasing 21.8% year over year. Homes priced between $750,000 and $1 million sold the fastest, averaging 37 days on the market. Inventory also continued to improve, with approximately 2.4 months of supply for single-family homes and 4.0 months for condos and townhomes, giving buyers more options while still supporting home values.
