Looking at the market through February, I’m continuing to see steady price growth, with the median sales price up 2.9% to $753,500. At the same time, the market has slowed a bit compared to last year, with fewer closed and pending sales overall. I’m also seeing more inventory hit the market, which is giving buyers more options and a little extra time to make decisions. Across San Diego County, we’re still technically in a seller’s market, with the Market Action Index sitting at 47, but the increase in available homes and slightly longer time on market are helping create a more balanced market and better opportunities for buyers.
